Council has scheduled the Horseshoe Bay Road asphalt works within the boundaries of Nautilus Street to Pacific Drive to commence on Thursday, 18 August 2022. Council expects these works to take two (2) weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Vehicles cannot be parked on the street while the works are occurring. Please organise to park your vehicle off the road or on an alternate street during these works.
Works may involve:
• Traffic control and temporary road closures
• Safety fencing for pedestrians and vehicles
• Excavations in the road and adjacent footpath
• Large construction machinery, noise and flashing lights.
Please ensure your bins are out by 6 am to be collected on your bin collection day.
A local contractor, BMD Constructions, is delivering these works on behalf of Council.
Regular work hours are 6 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, and 6 am to 2 pm on Saturday. In exceptional cases, Council may require work outside these hours.
