Message from Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS)

Heavy rains are resulting in movement of granite rocks around the creek lines on Magnetic Island. QPWS have been made aware of a recent incident at the waterholes along Petersen Creek, known as 'Endeavour Falls', near the suburb of Arcadia. QPWS is further investigating the incident and asks visitors remain on managed walking tracks.
