Magnetic Island Receptionist - Part time/full time
We are seeking a dedicated and organised person to join our Magnetic Island team at Clements Medical. As a vital member of our Practice, you will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our patients.
The Clements Medical group of medical practices provides a full range of general practice services in a modern and well-equipped facility.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Greet patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
Efficiently manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain appointment calendars for health care providers.
Collect patient information, verify Medicare details and ensure accurate data entry into electronic medical records.
Coordinate patient check-in and check out processes, addressing inquiries, and providing necessary forms and/or documents.
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Collaborate with our nurses and doctors to ensure seamless patient flow.
Experience:
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
A willingness to provide empathetic and compassionate patient care.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage appointment scheduling and patient records accurately.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and remain composed under pressure.
