It is great saddness we note the passing of long time island resident Bruce Williams.
Bruce was actively involved in our community, a founding member of MIRRA, a member of SHAG ( Safe Harbour Action Group), he wrote numerous articles for the MCN and also was the cartoonist known as 'Curlewis'.
Bruce was a high school teacher until his retirement, a father, a neighbour and a friend.
Bruce passed away last month in Rowes Bay.
Our thoughts are with his beloved children and extended family.
