Severe Weather Service Update #1 as of 12.00pm on Friday 31 January 2025 SeaLink North Queensland is continuing to monitor the latest weather advice issued by the Bureau of Meteorology. At this stage, we will be running a reduced schedule over the coming days.
Today, Friday 31 January 2025, our FINAL service will be at 6.00pm departing from Townsville Breakwater and 6.35pm from Magnetic Island.
Services will then cease.
This evening's return services departing Townsville Breakwater at 7.00pm, 9.30pm and 10.30pm have all been CANCELLED.

Please be advised that SeaLink will also be running reduced ferry services to and from Magnetic Island on Saturday 1 February and Sunday 2 February 2025.

Please be advised that there may be further disruptions to our SeaLink Magnetic Ferry services depending on the development and movement of the current weather system impacting our coast. SeaLink will continue to closely monitor the weather advice from the Bureau of Meteorology and updates will be provided on a regular basis.
