Council's Principal Arborist recently conducted a thorough inspection of the Yule Street, Picnic Bay amenities renewal site and identified three (3) Foxtail palm trees for removal. The decision to remove the palms was made based on Council’s certified arborist's report, with safety and the successful completion of the amenities renewal project as a priority.
Council recognises the value of trees and is committed to minimising the impact of their removal by carefully planning replanting and proper placement.
